Past the Pielach wooden bridge, the Kaiserkogel-trail runs along the Deutschbang up to the Güterweg (trade route) “Kaisergrub“. Continue through the "Etzhof", where a sophisticated ascent leads to the Kaiserkogel-Hütte. The descent is accomplished in the direction "Hagelbauer" up to the Meiselhöhe. Continue on to Plambacheck to the mouth of the B39. Turn right in the direction of Hofstetten-Grünau and before the "Pielachtaler Sehnsucht" turn left towards Pielachtal cycle path. Then on this turn left back to the train station at Rabenstein.

Author’s recommendation

As cultural attractions lure the culture historical ruins, the late Gothic Parish and at the same time Church of Dr. Franz Cardinal König and the nature gardens around the hotel "Stenschalerhof" and a "NatUr" wood in our "Climate Alliance"-(since 1997) and Fairtrade (2010–present) village on the Mariazellerbahn.

Enjoy the free time

Relaxation and bathing in our "Pielachtal bad" (baths) on the "Pielachstrand" (beach).

Either in the swimming pool with solar energy heated water or cool and sip refreshments in the public paths situated along the Pielach.

Children can directly in the river or on the gravel benches while playing, let their imagination run free.

The adjacent to the Public baths "Pielachtal arena" of the Ravenstone beach volleyball Club is a popular venue for national and international competitions.
