Starting from the Ötscher Base nature park centre, the trail leads you downhill through the Lassingschlucht Gorge and the Lassingfall waterfall over rock steps, bridges, and tunnels. The impressive Wienerbruck power plant is located in the middle of nature and tempts visitors with a small exhibition on its history. On the way back you climb up to the Kaiserthron where you are rewarded with a spectacular view of the “Ötschergräben” (Ötscher Gorges) and the summit of Mt. Ötscher. The descent is quite comfortable, leading you over a meadow and paved paths. A perfect hiking trip for the entire family!

From the Ötscher base, follow the road along the Wienerbruck reservoir. In front of the dam wall, take the path to the left into the Lassingschlucht gorge, direction "Ötschergräben".
