Circular hike around the Perchtoldsdorfer Heide nature reserve

Parking Perchtoldsdorfer Heide

We will start in the car park at Perchtoldsdorfer Heide and go straight on until we reach a T-junction. We will then bear left, and then right, and follow the blue route. At the next intersection, we will take a short detour to see the ruins of Kammerstein Castle. Back on the main route, we will follow the main route to the Franz-Ferdinand-Hütte inn, before heading along the red/purple hiking route to an intersection. Here we will bear left and take the lower path in the direction of Kaltenleutgeben. We will continue along Kaltenleutgebner Strasse to the Wiener Hütte inn. From there, we will enter the forest and bear right, following the blue route, before bearing left at the school sports field, and turning left soon after that. Passing the church, we will head down Willergasse, cross the railway line, and turn right onto Waldmühlgasse. At the fork in the road, we will bear left and head back to the Perchtoldsdorfer Heide nature reserve.
